Our beliefs are shaped by the Bible and centered on the good news of Jesus Christ. God’s Word guides our teaching, worship, discipleship, and everyday life.
We want to hold biblical truth with conviction, humility, clarity, and love.
Our foundation
What we believe shapes how we live.
At Bible Chapel, our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. These convictions guide our preaching, worship, relationships, discipleship, and mission. While no short statement can address every theological question, the beliefs below summarize the biblical truths we hold as foundational.
The Bible is God’s Word.
We believe the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God, completely trustworthy, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. Scripture reveals God’s character, His plan of redemption, and His will for His people.
There is one true God.
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, loving, all-powerful, all-knowing, and worthy of all worship, trust, and obedience.
Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to heaven, and will return again.
The Holy Spirit gives life and transforms believers.
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, brings new spiritual life, lives within every believer, and empowers God’s people to understand Scripture, grow in holiness, use their gifts, and bear witness to Jesus.
Every person is created in God’s image and affected by sin.
We believe every human being has dignity and value because each person is made in the image of God. We also believe that all people have sinned, are separated from God, and cannot save themselves through good works, morality, or religious activity.
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe salvation is God’s gift, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. We are forgiven and made right with God because of Christ’s death and resurrection, not because of anything we have earned or accomplished.
The church is the family and mission of God.
We believe every follower of Jesus is part of His church. The local church gathers for worship, biblical teaching, prayer, fellowship, communion, discipleship, service, and the proclamation of the gospel.
Jesus gave baptism and the Lord’s Supper to His church.
We believe baptism and communion are visible expressions of the gospel and important acts of obedience. Baptism publicly identifies a believer with Jesus Christ, and communion remembers His sacrificial death while proclaiming our shared hope in Him.
Followers of Jesus are called to faithful and transformed lives.
We believe Christians are saved by grace and then called to grow in holiness, love God and others, make disciples, serve with humility, pursue unity, and live as faithful witnesses in everyday life.
Jesus Christ will return and make all things new.
We believe Jesus will personally return, the dead will be raised, every person will stand before God, and Christ will fully establish His everlasting kingdom. Believers look forward to eternal life with God in the new creation.

Our desire is not only to state biblical beliefs, but to become people whose worship, relationships, priorities, and daily lives are increasingly shaped by the truth of God’s Word and the example of Jesus Christ.
